The Tack Alchemist was derived out of my own necessity searching for quality high end used tack while competing on the A/AA  H/J Circuit in Northern California. When I lost my ability to ride and compete, I desperately needed a way to stay connected to the equestrian scene that had been my world almost my entire life. I discovered how meditative and therapeutic it was to take older, dirty, tired, listless leather goods and restore them to their intended function, and thus, The Tack Alchemist was created. 

I make it a priority that each piece of tack that comes through the doors be scanned for flaws or possible malfunctions, and is carefully taken apart and cleaned, nourished, oiled, conditioned, and repaired for optimal use, so that you know you're receiving safe, quality goods at an affordable price to boot!

And for the gentle pleasure riders, we've got you too. Your tack and its safety and integrity is simply as important as those competing at the highest level, you will find your tack needs met here as well.
